This Fourpoint Antenna technology offers significantly improved bandwidth over competing atennas without increasing mechanical size, making it extremely applicable for wideband wireless communication in both military and commercial applications.
Measurement data from one hardware model demonstrates that a single Fourpoint Antenna covers a frequency range from 800 to 2200 MHz in one continuous band. The 800 to 2200 MHz band covers all commercial wireless communication services such as AMPS, GSM, PCS, and DCS. Additionally, this novel antenna provides outstanding impedance and radiation pattern performance. The compact and low-profile geometry of the Fourpoint Antenna make it ideal for use as an array element, providing wideband, and dual polarization.
