Methods and Systems for SPECT/PET Interior Reconstruction From Truncated Projection Data
SPECT and PET are important nuclear medicine tomographic imaging modalities. However, due to some limitations (e.g. detector length), the detected projections are often truncated. Inspired by the recent progress in the CT field, the inventors have developed a uniformly attenuated SPECT/PET interior reconstruction approach aided by partial prior knowledge.
