Protective Coating Process for Biological Agents
Case ID:
13-109
Web Published:
3/25/2013
The process that we are describing provides for coating biological control agents such as entomopathogenic spores in a closely controlled environment. It is designed to minimize the potential detrimental effects of hydration and dehydration of the agents which may reduce their field use efficacy and storage shelf life. The process should prove to be scalable from laboratory production for experimentation to producing large quantities economically for commercial sale.
