A Utility Proportional Fairness Bandwidth Allocation In Radar-Coexistent Cellular Networks

As mobile subscribers astronomically increase their monthly wireless traffic, wireless communications require more bandwidth. This novel two-stage resource optimally assigns bandwidth to mobile devices in cellular networks by allowing communication devices to leverage operating frequency bands. With quality of service in mind, cell systems refrain from interference with radars as the developed algorithms fairly allocate radar spectrum resources among the sectors of the cell communication system. Additionally, hardware modifications to the cellular system or the radar are not required.
