The analysis of multimedia or multimodal events can be challenging, especially identifying patterns of events that are relevant. We have developed software that allows an analysts to apply their expert knowledge in exploring their data and structurally identify patterns of interest. This software has two strengths. First, aiding an analyst in the actual analysis process has received less attention. This software was designed to include the analyst as an integral part. This may appear common sense, but is surprisingly overlooked. Second, pattern identifcation algorithms and approaches have addressed the low-hanging fruit, e.g., patterns based on statistical significance or frequency thresholding. The focus of the data analysis world is turning to identifying patterns in which traditional methods fail. These patterns have a more complicated basis for identification. Our software is a step forward to aiding the identification of said patterns.
