Impact Device for Simulating Head to Head Impacts in Sports

Description:

This device simulates real-world head to head impact events in a controlled and repeatable manner. The device can be used to evaluate and design protective headgear used in sports, as well as investigate traumatic head injury events. Impact velocity of the striking head is variable, and its impact orientation is adjustable. The struck headform's orientation is adjustable and can be positioned so any point on the head can be impacted.
