Autonomous Smart Buildings with AI and Blockchain
THE CHALLENGE
Modern buildings operate at the intersection of rising operational costs, complex stakeholder demands, and increasing expectations for energy efficiency and user experience, yet most current solutions fall short of delivering a viable business model for true autonomy. Centralized building management systems often function as opaque control...

AI-Powered Smart Building Management
THE CHALLENGE
Modern smart building solutions face a critical operational bottleneck due to their reliance on rigid, rule-based automation and cloud-dependent AI platforms. These systems often struggle to adapt to changing environmental conditions or complex occupant behaviors, resulting in inefficiencies in energy management, comfort optimization,...

Auto Hoist Stabilization System with Wireless Sync
THE CHALLENGE
Modern helicopter rescue operations require hoist operations that are safe, fast, and stable—particularly when suspended payloads swing dangerously due to wind, rotor wash, or sudden movements. These swings not only pose serious safety risks but also slow down mission times and increase stress on crews. Existing systems often rely...

Self-Cleaning/Non-Wetting Coating for Corrosion Protection of Metallic Structures
This invention is a novel two-step electrodeposition technique to fabricate superhydrophobic metallic coatings. The method has been demonstrated with a superhydrophobic copper coating with multiscale surface features. A thermodynamic model has been developed which supports extending this invention to other metals.
