Piperazine-containing Dilithium Anionic Initiators for Isoprene Polymerization
A novel process that uses piperazine-containing dilithium anionic initiators has been developed at Virginia Tech. This process has yielded unprecedented polymerization of isoprene and polystyrenic block copolymers with improved specificity and repeatability. Resulting products could include any number of low-VOC adhesive and coatings.
